The 5th Annual Under The Big Top For Autism@Liberty Grand-(Thurs.,Nov.19th,2015)

The Fifth Annual “Under The Big Top For Autism” was held at the historic Liberty Grand on Thursday.
A very successful evening benefiting Autism Speaks Canada with 600+ in attendance!!! They raised over $250,000.00 for ASC. This is a cause that’s especially dear to everyone as autism affects 1 in 88 children with that number growing constantly. It was an honour to be a part of an event that is trying to help children and parents in the absence of a cure.

Under the Big Top for Autism was spectacular . This night was the result of years of planning, inspired by Paula’s son CJ, who was diagnosed with autism in 2007. Paula Stamp used that theme, as the title suggests,  that re-created the charm of being a kid at the circus. There were fire jugglers, stilt walkers and acrobats. T.V. personality Steve Anthony was the master of ceremonies, and as always no one was spared from being involved.  Special guests included: Platinum Blonde, Chief Of Police Mark Saunders, and other local personalities who were happy to pose for photos with their many fans in the silent auction area. Singing sensation Mitchell Daniel, Linmore, and Painting artist JessGo provided entertainment for the evening! Our dinner was delicious and the open bar obviously led us to the dance floor at the end of the night.
Autism Speaks is a charity that is dedicated to autism science and advocacy, funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

A big thank you goes out to Paula Stamp for the invite and the hospitality.
