About the instructor:
Kristin Johnstone is a Toronto based yoga teacher, dancer and fitness instructor. She graduated from Western University with a degree in kinesiology and went on to dance for Carnival Cruise Lines, in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Ceremonies, and for two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts Football Club. Kristin found yoga as a means of preventing injury, and maintaining flexibility and strength during her years as a dancer. Her love and dedication to the practice was cultivated during her time spent overseas. She trained as a Hatha teacher near Byron Bay, Australia and dove deep in her practice, (and the ocean!) when she spent two years practicing and teaching throughout Australia and Bali. You can currently find Kristin getting her sweat on in Toronto at Barreworks, where she leads a variety of barre sessions, from drip-worthy cardio to slow-moving restorative yoga. Kristin is super excited to be working with Steam Whistle Brewery in support of the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Her style is chill but challenging, as she aims for balance to lighten the heart and strengthen the body. Get ready to sweat and smile!
