Winter Brewfest@Enercare Centre(Fri.,Feb.19th-Sat.,Feb.20th,2016)

The creators of Ottawa’s popular Winter Brewfest presented the inaugural edition of the Toronto Winter Brewfest. The fans of fine beer and fine food attended Heritage Court, Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place to sample more than 100 beers crafted by brewers from across Ontario and Quebec. In a warm and festive setting, patrons discovered a wide range of local microbreweries and were treated to delicious gourmet food from Toronto’s best food trucks. This party should help launch what will surely become a Toronto winter tradition!
The inaugural edition of the Toronto Winter Brewfest took place February 19-20, 2016 inside the Enercare Centre’s Heritage Court at Exhibition Place.

This was a sold out event on a Friday night and there were definitely line ups everywhere. However, everyone was there for the appreciation of craft beer and to try out a few new ones  that they haven’t before. Some of the highlights of the tasting were: High Park Brewery, Beau’s Brewery, Innis&Gunn Edinburgh Scotland Brewery, Lot9 Brewery and Okanagan Spring Brewery. Some of the food trucks had long line ups but that didn’t discourage people from trying out the tasty treats. We were very impressed with TDot’s NaanSense food truck which describes itself as “Diversifying Flavour”. Overall a fun Friday night and we are looking forward to the summer Brewfest!
