The ALL-STAR all-night event featured some of the most popular exhibitions which were displayed at City Hall such as: Director X’s Death of the Sun, Floria Sigismondi’s mesmerizing Pneuma, and Philip Beesley’s Ocean, showcasing these amazing works until October 10.
Nuit Blanche 2016 took over Toronto from sunset to sunrise on Saturday, October 1. Nuit Blanche transformed the city into One big art gallery. The event features over 300 local, national and international artists presenting 80 contemporary pieces – including 30 pieces of public art.
As with other years, the 2016 Nuit Blanche Toronto was divided into different projects and themes held at numerous educational institutions, museums, galleries and neighbourhoods throughout the city.
With more than 1,300 art installations involving 4,600 artists across its eleven-year history, Nuit Blanche Toronto is once again free for all Torontonians and tourists. You never know what you might encounter.
