DX INTERSECTION 2016-DISPATCH@Design Exchange(Fri.,Nov.4th,2016)

On November 4, The Design Exchange hosted the annual DX Intersection party. DX Intersection is the annual fundraiser for Design Exchange and Canada’s Design Museum.

It was a night to remember, and the experience was complete with tasty beverages, amazing food, and great tunes!
DX Intersection was greatly anticipated and attended by hundreds of art, fashion, design and philanthropic guests. Each year, DX celebrates a Canadian individual or partnership that exemplifies creativity, outstanding talent, and innovative vision.

The 2016 DXI Award went to Tyler Brûlé, a Canadian journalist and entrepreneur based in London, UK, who has risen to international acclaim and influence as the founder of Winkreative, Monocle and Wallpaper.
Tyler Brûlé’s work demonstrates the intersection of design disciplines, and shows how design informs contemporary culture and lifestyles. Proceeds from DX Intersection support public and educational programs.
Some of the noted guests included Yannick Bison of Murdoch Mystery fame, George Stroumboulopoulos from CBC, Patrick McGuire of Vice Canada, Ward 27 Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam and fashion journalist Glen Baxter

We would like to thank Melissa Augimeri/Account Executive from NKPR for the invitation to this event.
