The 6th Annual Under The Big Top For Autism@Liberty Grand(Thurs.,Nov.17th,2016)
This was the 6th annual gala for Under The Big Top For Autism!
This is a cause that’s especially dear to everyone as autism affects 1 in 88 children with that number growing constantly. It was an honour to be a part of an event that is trying to help children and parents in the absence of a cure.
The Autism Gala has become an annual spectacular event with over 600 people in attendance at the Liberty Grand in Toronto.
Under the Big Top for Autism http://autismgala.com was spectacular . This night was the result of years of planning, inspired by Paula’s son CJ, who was diagnosed with autism in 2007. Paula Stamp used that theme, as the title suggests, that re-created the charm of being a kid at the circus.
There were jugglers, sword swallowers and acrobats. T.V. personality Steve Anthony was the master of ceremonies, and as always no one was spared from being involved. Special guests included: Platinum Blonde, “Spider”Jones, and other local personalities who were happy to pose for photos with their many fans in the silent auction area. Singing sensation Mitchell Daniel, Kayla Diamond and Painting artist JessGo provided entertainment for the evening! The dinner/dessert was delicious and the patrons headed to the dance floor at the end of the night.
Autism Speaks is a charity that is dedicated to autism science and advocacy, funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
We would like to thank Paula S. Stamp for the invitation to this event.
