Canadian Screen Awards Nomination Announcement @Aperture (Tues., Jan.17th, 2017)

Two more months before the excitement of The Canadian Screen Awards arrives in Toronto, but some announcements were made regarding the nominees and it was streaming live on line.
Iconic actor Christopher Plummer will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards. Also actor and television personality Howie Mandel will host the Academy’s 2017 Canadian Screen Awards.
Maxim Roy (Shadowhunters, 19-2), Amanda Brugel (Room, The Handmaid’s Tale, Eyewitness) and Simu Liu (Kim’s Convenience) revealed the nominations for the Academy’s 2017 Canadian Screen Awards.

The annual awards show celebrates the best in film, television and digital media. The awards will be broadcast live from Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 8 pm EST on CBC (8:30 NT; 9 pm AT)
