Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade on Monday, January 30, 2017@Minute Maid Park, Houston, Texas
The NFL kicked off Super Bowl LI festivities in Houston by hosting the participating teams and fans in primetime at Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Minute Maid Park. Starting QB Tom Brady of the NE Patriots and Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons were on stage together to answer the questions of the attending media. This is the second year of Super Bowl Opening Night, it will be the first time the players and coaches meet with the media in Houston prior to the Super Bowl.
The event featured live musical performances by X Ambassadors, special appearances and autographs by NFL Legends, cheerleaders and team mascots, and a Red Carpet fan photo opportunity all while fans sat in the stands and watch the players of Super Bowl LI be interviewed. And this could be the final appearance from retiring sports broadcaster Chris Berman. Super Bowl Opening Night in Houston was televised live on NFL Network. Fans in attendance received a great “swag”gift bags with a radio to tune into NFL Network coverage and listen to some of the individual player interviews from the podium microphones.
