IoT is the top tech trend to watch in 2017, according to Forbes magazine, Fortune magazine and CNBC.
There will be 34 billion devices connected to the Internet by 2020 (up from 10 billion in 2015). IoT devices will account for 24 billion of these devices.
Nearly $6 billion will be spent on IoT devices over the next 5 years.
IoT can improve the bottom line by lowering operating costs, increasing productivity and expanding to new markets or developing new product offerings.
