On Saturday, May 20, 2017, Kicks 4 the City hosted it’s 2nd
Annual AGORA Sneakerball at Venue One in the West Loop district in Chicago, Illinois.
The evening’s theme included: black tie, sneakers, art, music, philanthropy, a green carpet and celebrities.
The AGORA Sneakerball is a black-tie event created to celebrate and fundraise for the ongoing operations of Kicks 4 the City. Since 2012, Kicks 4 the City’s annual shoe drive has distributed over 50,000 pairs of shoes to those experiencing poverty and homelessness!
Kicks 4 the City, powered by Legacy Leavers, NFP has been operating for almost 5 years and establishing a presence in a total of nine cities across the country. Kicks 4 the City seeks to creatively educate and inspire others to build & leave a legacy for future generations around the globe. In an effort to leave an impactful footprint in the communities they serve, Kicks 4 the City has extended their partnership with The Athlete’s Foot for 2017.
The AGORA Sneakerball honored its supporters, volunteers and national ambassadors for all of their hard work, dedication and sacrifices throughout the year!
The handsome LaRoyce Hawkins, Star Actor from NBC’s hit show “Chicago PD” was the evening’s host. Live entertainment was provided by the smooth and talented The Jeff Gibbs Quartet. Some of the evening’s sponsors included: The Athlete’s Foot, Nike, Michigan Avenue Magazine, Jack Daniels, Jason Markk, Cinespace Chicago, The Godfrey Hotel Chicago, United Scrap, BLVDier and of course the venue sponsor: Venue One.
