The Haiti School Building Project hosted “The Function in the Junction” event on Thursday, June 22, a festive mix of drinks, dancing and food, the night was hosted at 2854 Dundas St. W, catered by guest chef Anthony Rose of Toronto’s most buzzed about restaurants: Rose & Sons, Fat Pasha, The Big Crow, Bar Begonia and Schmaltz Appetizing.
The Haiti School Building Project is a wonderful initiative by Toronto educator Serena Bufalino to teach Toronto’s at-risk youth about globalization, community and philanthropy, all while simultaneously funding and building schools for the children of Canan, Haiti. These schools will change the lives of over 500 kids who will be given a chance for a better future.
On top of great eats and delicious drinks, there were door prizes, silent auction items, live art and a selfless selfie station in collaboration with the following brands/sponsors: The Citizen, Baro, Turo, TMR Collection, Belfast Love, Laura Rowe Photography, Drake Hotel, Ultimate Fitness and more.
We would like to thank Hannah Yardley of Clutch PR for the invitation to this event.
