TIFF @ Mongrel House (Monday Sept. 11, 2017)

By AJ Lam

Mongrel Films, Canada’s leading independent film distributor, once again was the generous host of TIFF celebrities and film aficionado partiers for a week of nightly parties at TIFF Mongrel House, aka, the 1822 Georgian-style Campbell House, the oldest remaining home from the original town of York. Party-goers were entertained by live bands, DJs, and live band karaoke while enjoying poutine by Smoke’s Poutinerie,  maple taffy, gelato, St. Lawrence Night Market sliders, paella, salads, fruit, and desserts, to go along with an open bar amply stocked with Steamwhistle beer, Bulleit Bourbon, Tangueray gin, and wine.
