URBAN SQUASH TORONTO’S 3RD ANNUAL FUNDRAISER (Wed. Mar. 7, 2018)
By Kimberly Samnang
The theme from “Good to Great” was perfectly suitable as Urban Squash Toronto celebrated it’s first Graduating Class at the private Cambridge Club in downtown Toronto.
It was a special evening as UST presented it’s first graduating class. The evening’s guest of honour was Karl Subban, the first Toronto District School Board Principal that partnered with Urban Squash Toronto. Mr. Subban is the author of “How We Did It” the story of how three sons were drafted to the NHL.
This special evening included:
- a variety of food and beverage stations featuring Bar Mercurio, John & Sons Oyster House, Stratus and other great restaurants
- a silent auction including NHL and NBA tickets, original artist paintings, sports memorabilia, Lorde tickets, a remote fishing trip and many more exciting items
- 50/50 draw
- live squash demonstration
- guest of honour Karl Subban
All funds raised will support Urban Squash Toronto as they continue to educate Toronto’s youth, providing mentoring through positive role models and offer access to extracurricular activities that are both mentally stimulating and fun.
We would like to thank Don Givelos, Executive Director of Urban Squash Toronto for this invitation.
