SNAP 2018-“A Photographic Fundraiser For ACT”-Thursday, March 22nd, 2018@The Bram & Bluma Appel Salon@The Toronto Reference Library
SNAP 2018 was held on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018 at the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library.
SNAP is one of ACT’s two annual fundraising events. A photographic fundraiser featuring a Live and Silent Art Auction, and a photo competition, SNAP is an opportunity to bring together those who have a passion for the arts and those who support the work of ACT.
Over the past 16 years, SNAP has provided patrons with an opportunity to support ACT’s programs and services, increase their awareness of HIV and AIDS, and add to their art collections. The event provides a great opportunity for both established and emerging artists to showcase their work.
SNAP has raised over $3 million since its inception in support of the important programs and services at ACT (the AIDS Committee of Toronto) is a leading HIV service organization, supporting the more than 20,000 people living with HIV in Toronto.
We do so by offering a range of comprehensive supports that help people living with HIV confront the stigma, physical and mental health challenges, and financial complexity of living with HIV.
With the support of generous donors, ACT continues to deliver crucial HIV prevention, education and outreach programs within the communities most affected by HIV in our city.
ACT relies heavily on the support of its partners to carry out the important work it does in HIV prevention, outreach, education and support. ACT would be unable to continue this tradition of excellence without the generosity of individual donors, and the support we receive from corporate, foundation, and community sources. The donations are vital in keeping the fight against HIV and AIDS alive in our communities.
We would like to thanks Chris Thomas,
AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT)
for the invitation to this event.
