RECESS: Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto @ Mattamy Athletic Centre (Sun. Mar. 25,2018)

It was March Break in Toronto and we were invited to the 2nd year for RECESS: A playful break for families benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto. Kids and adults joined celebrities host Rick and Angie Campanelli at RECESS: A playful break for families on Sunday, March 25. We experienced the high energy of this 2nd annual all-inclusive getaway for all ages, all in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Toronto.

Spanning the entire floor, stands and concession areas of Ryerson’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, RECESS featured beach volleyball, virtual surfing, sandcastles, carpool karaoke, a midway, video games, life-sized Lego, live entertainment, a Reptile section and fun and healthy food. M&M characters, PAW Patrol, Stormtroopers and princesses will all make special appearances.

Guests will go home with souvenirs and memories to last the year. “RECESS is Toronto’s stay-cation this month,” says Sally Ginter, CEO of RMHC Toronto. “It’s a great way for families to have fun while getting their kids involved in an important cause.”

For more information on RECESS, visit www.rmhctoronto.ca/RECESS. Ticket prices include all activities, entertainment and food. RMHC Toronto provided a place like home for 5,139 families with a seriously ill child last year from across the GTA, Ontario and Canada.

We would like to thank Judy Noordermeer and Nick Skinner of Ronald McDonald House Toronto for the invitation.
