The 11th Annual Prosperity Ball – Night of Diamonds ll@The Royal York Hotel-Saturday November 30th, 2019

New Beginnings Support Program hosted its 11th Annual Prosperity Ball – Night of Diamonds ll on Saturday November 30th, 2019 at the Royal York Hotel.

 


The Host for the evening was Amanda Lang, an Internationally recognized Canadian Business Journalist, Best-Selling Author, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Amanda believes giving back is a necessity to improving the lives of those in need. The field of her study was far different from the career she chose, but due to her talent and her hard work, she excelled in the field of journalism, starting her career in this field from The Globe and Mail in the InfoGlobe unit.

 


Also Michelle Hastick – Cowell is a decorated professional athlete turned financial expert, whose hard work and commitment to excellence has allowed her to wear many hats, life coach, teacher and financial guru. She is an internationally recognized as a ‘women of influence’ and blazing a path for women in her field. Giving back and making a difference in the lives of women and children in need is a passion and focus of hers.


The black tie event began with a cocktail reception. Over 350 guests mingled with media personalities, business and community leaders from across the GTA, as well as bid on items from their silent auction.
The entertainment included : A DJ spinning tunes to keep the patrons dancing til the wee hours of morning. Also included was : Jade’s Hip Hop Academy (JHHA) and Performance Company have built an impressive reputation through southern Ontario and worldwide via their youtube channel. Known for their intricate choreography, innovative concepts you will enjoy an amazing performance by her youth dance group that will move and inspire you.

 


The Young Canadian Tenor David Bonomo has captivated his audiences with his rich, powerful and extraordinary stellar voice. He is an inspired opera singer and enjoys classical, opera and pop opera music.


Guests were served a three course dinner, including an assortment of complimentary wine, beer and signature drinks, and the night continued with entertainment and patrons put on their dancing shoes when all the speeches were done.
