Interior Design Show IDS Spring Resiliency Conference 2021 Sustainability and Designing for the Future
Virtual for the 2nd year in a row due to the Pandemic IDS Spring 2021 offered lots of variety and new products and talks with industry professionals. The four days May 10 – 13 were filled with design ideas.

The IDS Spring app easily allowed attendees to view sessions and speakers, discover products, connect and network and see virtual showrooms. The IDS app organized the attendee’s agenda, shared the 2020 Highlights, allowed for networking and prototype pitches. The IDS spring virtual event had its usual large variety of sessions and speakers – several every hour.
Some session themes included Workplace with a Heart, Cook and Clean demo from Caesarstone countertops, Design sources: Beyond Aesthetics, Recovery Post Pandemic – future of cities.

Showrooms exhibited paint, kitchen systems, furniture, flooring, tiling, new designs, creative ways of displaying artwork and furniture. Lots of introduction to new collections. Always lots of creative and beautiful ideas at the IDS Conference… and ways of beautifying a space with architectural design while keeping it green….helping the environment. The key sponsors were Volvo, Caesarstone and Miele.
Whether you were looking to upgrade your home, purchase for business investment or to simply learn more about design, there was something for everyone. This Spring’s conference was a time to meet your needs by virtually networking, seeing the new design products, learning about ecological & sustainable materials, business strategies and hearing the keynote speakers. And looking forward to future IDS Conferences! The Interior Design Show is one of beauty and creativity and this show was no exception. A wonderful four days!
