Comedy Records presents Born On 9/11 by Salma Hindy Debut Stand-Up Comedy Album Out March 25
 Salma Hindy, a first generation Egyptian-Canadian comedian, will release her debut stand up album Born On 9/11 on Comedy Records, which was recorded live in Toronto. Born On 9/11 will be released on March 25, 2022, following Salma Hindy’s Canadian tour dates with Chelsea Handler.Across 13 hilarious tracks, Salma Hindy shares true to life stories about her experiences as a Muslim woman, who just happened to be born on September 11, in a post-9/11 world. With animated enthusiasm, Salma introduces the listener to Muslim culture through her authentic and amusing accounts of family, dating and religion. From bidets to blind dates, Salma speaks candidly about her specific perspective on this debut album. Salma Hindy is a graduate of the Stand Up Comedy program at The Second City Toronto. Salma has performed at JFL NorthWest, SF Sketchfest, Women in Comedy Festival, Chicago Women’s Funny Fest, and the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival, and appeared in the New Wave of Stand Up on CBC Gem. Comedy Records is Canada’s first record label dedicated to releasing stand up and sketch comedy albums. Established in Toronto in 2010, the label has produced several releases, which have reached the top of the iTunes Comedy and Google Play charts and been featured on Conan and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
