1300+ of Toronto’s most chic ,stylish guests and philanthropists experienced Nashville while raising funds for a re-imagined SickKids

After missing the last two years, one of Toronto’s most fashionable nights – the 20th annual Holt Renfrew presented Scrubs in the City: Nashville in collaboration with Mantella Corporation –it returned on Thursday, June 2, to benefit The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). This year, Evergreen Brick Works transformed into Music City where guests were invited to immerse themselves in all things Nashville, where the wonders and delights of the city brought to life: neon lights, live music , line dancing, fashion, food, décor, and entertainment. To date, the annual event has raised more than $7.3 million in support of some of the most critical needs at the hospital. A record $1,075,000 was raised at this year’s gala for Sickkids. These funds will support the new, first-in-Canada Cellular Therapy Facility, which will allow Sickkids to harness the power of the immune system to fight cancer and other diseases, using a patient’s own cells.

SickKids is a leader in child health and home to Canada’s largest, hospital-based child health research institute, caring for more than 100,000 patients every year. By attending Scrubs in the City 2022, guests are doing so much more than enjoying a philanthropic hot southern night, they’re raising funds that will support a new state-of-the-art Cellular Therapy Facility, which will help harness the power of the immune system – using a patient’s own cells – to fight cancer and other diseases.

An exclusive silent auction  was available to guests and non-guests alike including luxury one-of-a-kind items such as courtside Raptor’s tickets, an exclusive vacation package to attend New York Fashion Week in style, and even a custom RVNG couture gown. Bidders could access all of the auction items via http://www.skscrubsauction.ca.
