Events are happening again! The Gardiner Museum Toronto was definitely a happening event. The sold out fundraiser was held on Thursday, June 16 on a beautiful evening in Toronto. SMASH is the Gardiner Museum annual fundraiser which everyone looks so forward to. We’ve missed it very much these past two years! 

SMASH is a night when the next generation of artists, arts enthusiasts, and cultural philanthropists come together to celebrate the city’s vibrant arts community and see how young Canadian artists are pushing the boundaries of their media.’
The event took place on the third floor of the Gardiner Museum – where Clay Restaurant is. Tables removed, lots of space, DJ music, bars set up and lots of wait staff passing out delicious canapes and drinks. Everyone was dressed elegantly for a summer evening.

There are two balcony areas to admire the view and enjoy the warm Toronto evening with friends new and known. Lots of space to move around and mingle. The art gallery on the third floor was open to see the contemporary artwork while enjoying delicious food and cocktails.

The Gardiner is a beautiful museum – with a variety of art styles for everyone’s taste. The building itself is spacious and inviting. Interesting gift shop with unique gifts. Lovely entrance way with green leafed plant creation created by one of the artists welcomed all.  The Gardiner Museum is one of Toronto’s best museums.

A must-see for visitors and Torontonians! Great location at Bloor and University Ave right across from The ROM. Easy access by TTC. The perfect spot to spend a reflective few hours. This was an evening of young artists… and the creative future looks good. An exquisite collection of ceramic artworks.  It truly was an unforgettable evening. SMASH – The Gardiner’s annual art party is an event not to be missed in 2023! Wonderful!.
