Ritz-Carleton Grand Prix Gala When 1912 meets 2022-Fri., June 17th,2022
It was a rainy weekend in Montreal, but that didn’t damper the spirits of the attendees who arrived at The Ritz-Carleton gala. The moniker was ”When 1912 meets 2022, a 110 year old love story unfolds.”As the much anticipated Grand Prix Party 2022 was held on Friday night.
The city’s social event of the year was off the Gilles Villeneuve racetrack, at Ritz-Carlton Montreal’s BLACK–TIE Grand Prix party, an elegant celebration to the century -old love story with Montreal. The block-long black carpet was in the heart of the Golden Square Mile.
Ritz-Carlton Montreal’s now-legendary annual event took place in the glamorous Palm Court, Oval Room and Oval Terrace as well as second floor lounges & bars, signature beverages, dancers of the era, spectacular food , DJ, a live band and outdoor garden which lasted until 2 am.
The Ritz-Carlton is the first Official Hotel Partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. The partnership kicked off in 2019 at the Canadian Grand Prix and brings together two legendary and likeminded brands committed to excellence, while offering unmatched access and memorable experiences for members of Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program and portfolio of 30 extraordinary brands, which includes The Ritz-Carlton.
A featured Laurent Perrier Champagne Bar was the center piece upon arriving inside the glamourious front area; there was an abundance of food stations by Ritz-Carlton Montreal’s Executive Chef; spinning by DJ YO-C, powered by Mooseknuckles, Fafa Khan and other live entertainment & musical performances featured Brittany Kennell , 1st Canadian to make it on America’s The Voice.
Live musical performance powered by Louis XIII are the acclaimed Vitamin String Quartet from the Bridgerton series, one of the most popular string ensembles in the world today!
In addition, Christian Louboutin invited guests to experience the ‘Louboutin Piano Lounge,’ a jewel-box like parlor in which they can enjoy a live performance.
The 2022 Grand Prix party was held in collaboration with the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation, committed to improving mental health care in Canada by bridging the gaps in the current system.
