LOS ANGELES, CA – Written, composed and produced entirely by solo artist, DizzyStylz, the chill, romantic, sexy instrumental single, “Hues of Aquila” is an auditory space odyssey encompassing the sonic journey of a man in love, through the far reaches of space.It traverses love, passion, intimacy and romance in a smooth and sexy musical composition.
Prone to finding inspiration in abstract places in his music career, this specific work is no different. After watching an anthology style series on Netlfix, (Love Death and Robots). Dizzystylz happened upon an episode titled: Beyond The Aquila Rift. At which point became fascinated by the concept of the actual celestial formation of the Serpens Aquila Rift and heavily influenced by the different colors the rift can be viewed as, he was inspired to create something as audibly captivating as the rift was visually to him.
ABOUT DIZZYSTYLZ – Originally beginning his music career as a rap artist, DizzyStylz began falling out of love with hip-hop, and has sonically and energetically fallen in love with synthwave. The desire for a music genre that related to him more closely as a person, is inevitably what led him to evolve into the synthwave artist that he is today.
“It seemed everything around me was pointing to synthwave and the ’80s at one point. I was watching Stranger Things (the Netflix series) and came across the movie Turbo Kid featuring music from Le Matos. Also, I stumbled across the movie It Follows, and the short film, Kung Fury. This ’80s aesthetic was everywhere and pretty much screaming at me.”
The music DizzyStylz creates is always an attempt to produce a nostalgic ode to a simpler and more kindred time that resonates within the ideas of young love, explorative naivety, and cold ice cream from the ice cream truck during those hot summer sunsets.
