The Toronto Argonauts won their very first Labour Day Classic at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton following seven straight losses against The TiCats.  Brandon Banks continued his unbeaten run on Labour Day by scoring two fourth-quarter majors, one on a strangely designed run on a reverse featuring QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson as the lead blocker, the other on a reception that officially sealed the deal against his former team.

The Argos’ 28-8 one sided win, improved their record to 6-5. It was a unique game, an oddity, mixed in with a few moments of high-end play, but no one will remember the latest installment of this rivalry and feud because the day was not a classic game.
