Blue Jays Vs. Phillies Offensive Slugfest

Matt Chapman’s blasted a 3 run homer in the first inning to gave the Jays a 3-0 lead before starter Ross Stripling walked to the pitchers mound. The Jays jumped all over pitcher Kyle Gibson early, building a 6-0 lead through three innings as they threatened to turn it into a one sided game behind Stripling. The bats were working for the Jays and after building an early lead, they ended up winning an offence slug fest 18-11. The two game mini series continues tomorrow.
