Week 2 In College Football And Alabama is #1

Here are some of the high lights and low lights for the week. The biggest surprise single game of week 2 was Alabama’s one-point victory over Texas 20-19. Remember the Longhorns had been significant underdogs coming into the game, and put up an amazing battle.
Also Appalachian State beat Texas  A&M (6), 

 Marshall beat Notre Dame (8) and 

Georgia Southern beat Nebraska for another close loss for the Cornhuskers.

Miami, Ohio St, Michigan, Oklahoma and Clemson all looked impressive, beating lower-ranked opponents.
