The Blue Jays split the series versus the Rays Now they head home with a solid grip on the top wild-card spot and a playoff-berth clinch sooner than later .

Their magic number is down to four after a  3-1 win on Saturday and a 7-1 win on Sunday secured a four-game weekend split at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay. 

It’s back to Toronto for a 3 game series versus the division leaders New York Yankees. The season is dwindling down and every game counts. There are only 9 games left for the Blue Jays.
