The Toronto Blue Jays won first game of the series, with a 3-2 victory over the Yankees in the 10th inning.

The two starting pitchers were: RHP Kevin Gausman for the Jays and RHP Luis Severino. This is game one of three over the next three nights, Yankees star Aaron Judge could tie and break Roger Maris’ AL single-season record for homers in a season (61 in 1961)New York could clinch the AL East crown, and the Blue Jays could wrap up a playoff spot. Judge was held homerless tonight and he stays at 60 home runs.

The winning pitcher was Tim Mayza for the Jays and Clarke Schmidt took the loss for the Yankees. The first pitch for tomorrow’s game two is 7:07pm.
