Toronto had a clubhouse “post season “ celebration after the game Friday. Both Vlad Guerrero Jr. , Raimel Tapia and George Springer homered, Alex Manoah was on the mound for six strong innings to elevate the wild card leading and playoff bound Toronto Blue Jays over the Boston Red Sox 9-0 on Friday night.

The Blue Jays clinched an AL wild-card berth Thursday when the Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles.

The teams resume their battle with game two at 3:05 pm on Saturday.
