Blue Jays Win Game One Of 3 Vs Baltimore Orioles- 5-1.

It was a Monday night for the MLB and it’s winding down for the season. The Blue jays are still on a hot streak with a 5-1 win over the Orioles on a rainy night for baseball at the sloppy Camden Yards. Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios had a strong outing for the win. Vladimir Guerrero jr. Hit 422ft home run over the deepest part of the left field.

A game that was delayed two outs into the eighth inning was ultimately called 51 minutes later due to horrible conditions.

The result allowed the Jays to reduce their magic number to lock up the top seed in the American League wildcard race to one. Later in the evening, the Detroit Tigers beat Seattle Mariners to elevate the Blue Jays in clinching the top wild card position in the ALC and home field advantage in round one.

Game 2 continues tomorrow vs. the Orioles at 4:07pm for the first pitch in Baltimore.
