CHRISTIAN HARD ROCK BAND, DEEP AS BONES UNLEASH POWERFUL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “SPUN”
PHOENIX, AZ – From incarceration and addiction to redemption, sobriety and
righteous living: Christian hard rock band, Deep As Bones has released a music
video for their single “Spun”, which touches down on breaking free from the strong
grip the disease of addiction has and being on the road to recovery and sobriety.
With a massive, arena sound; powerful, piercing, distinct, melodic vocals, paired with
impeccable, versatile musicians and raw, meaningful lyrics, “Spun” illustrates one’s
inner dialogue when battling addiction, and is one of the songs off the self-titled
album that were written while the writers were incarcerated.
The music video concept revolves around battling the demons of addiction.
Frontman, Rodney Scott Pieres portrays himself, vs. his own demons he had to
overcome to successfully achieve long-term sobriety. The visualizer was filmed at
Painted Tiger Studios in Glendale, AZ, and was directed, filmed and edited by Gavin
Donnelly of Soundphoria Media. Behind-the-scenes footage and photos were
captured by DJ Cruse.
Their full-length, self-titled album will be released on Friday October 14, 2022.
Thanks ABOUT THE BAND
Christian hard rock band, Deep As Bones was formed in Arizona State Prison
Complex, Florence in 2016. All three writers on the album were in the same prison
yard together. Rodney Scott Pieres, John Fabricius and Walter Willis wrote 10
songs together in the prison band room. Upon release, the three of them went into
the studio with producer Jay Kereny (Linkin Park) to start recording at Studio 47 on
Central. Jay introduced them to then-Red and Love and Death drummer, Dan
Johnson who played on the record. They finished recording at TallCat Studios in
Phoenix and completed recording in 2020. Ralph Patlan (Megadeth) completed the
process by mixing and mastering the record.
