“I feel very fortunate to be able to tell this story because there is a segment of society that needs to better understand the issue of gender imbalance and the absurd expectations society places on women. Having the opportunity to work with Milcania Diaz-Rojas, producers Shachi Sharma, Jaskaran Singh and  Kate Hornsby along with the rest of the talented cast and production team has been a wonderful experience in terms of finding the best possible way to tell an entertaining story while exploring an important social issue,” said Writer/Director Reeyaz Habib.

Cinematography by Andres Galicia Corazon Contento, Amazon Prime and production designed by Ashley Fredericks (EZRA).

Reeyaz Habib is a storyteller who left behind a 15-year career on Bay Street to pursue a passion for filmmaking.  Reeyaz’s focus on telling entertaining, but socially relevant stories has won him a number of accolades including being the first ever Canadian recipient of the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant (2022).  Reeyaz is an alumnus of the School of Cinematic Arts at USC and is represented by MeridianArtists.
