A Special Afternoon Event To Learn More About Taiwan!-Fri.,Oct.21st,2022
By Steph C.
With the borders opened, Taiwan is ready to welcome the world.

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Toronto prepared a special treat for Torontonians to get a taste of Taiwan this weekend at Charidise Toronto and then a short walk to Yonge-Dundas Square for the pop-up activation. Enter into a life-sized rendition of a traditional Taiwanese house to experience Taiwan’s diverse offerings, from its stunning outdoors to its rich history and culture.

There’s something for everybody to see and do in Taiwan. I had an amazing time during my visit to Taipei several years ago. Taipei is an exciting city filled with delicious foods and fun activities like night markets. I also got pampered in the hot springs area near Taipei, Yilan, which was about half an hour away by train.

I look forward to returning to Taiwan soon. There are so many activities to choose from. This time I want to explore the island from north to south, perhaps renting a scooter and riding into the towns and cities to experience Taiwanese culture and to take in all the beautiful views along the way. And a final stop at the southern tip of the island for some snorkeling at Kenting which is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. I’m ready for my next adventure in Taiwan!
