War Child’s work is needed now more than ever before. Funds raised will provide conflict-affected children and families with essential programs that give them the chance to escape cycles of violence and poverty and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
War Child is an acclaimed humanitarian organization that has been protecting children from the brutal impact of war and violence for the past 20 years.
Using a bold, community-driven approach, War Child delivers programs that give children the best chance of overcoming the challenges of war and growing up to see a brighter future. War Child makes it possible for children to get back to school, protects their rights, and gives their families the tools they need to escape poverty. This is accomplished with a long-term focus, 99% local staff, and by investing approximately 90% of every dollar into our overseas programming. War Child Canada supports over 600,000 conflict-affected people every year.
