The Tenors @ Roy Thompson Hall-Fri., Dec. 23rd, 2022
By Steph C.
Toronto turned into a winter wonderland after a huge snowstorm and it also set a beautiful backdrop to a dreamy white Christmas. What better way to bring in the holidays than a magnificent performance, A Season of Miracles, by The Tenors at the Roy Thomson Hall.
These four incredible vocalists; Victor Micallef, Clifton Murray, Alberto Urso and Mark Masri, captivated the sold-out crowd with their powerful voices in sweet-sounding melodies. They also shared their personal stories and music journeys. Victor Micallef, a Toronto-native, shared heartfelt stories about his parents at Christmas. There were some teary moments as his family members were also attending the concert supporting him.
Along with The Orpheus Choir of Toronto, The Tenors put on an incredible show igniting the Christmas spirit. Moving easily between pop songs, opera, ballads and Christmas tunes, and engaging the audience to participate and sing along. There was even a special appearance by the man of the hour, Santa Claus, who rocked and sang a few Christmas songs with the formidable foursome. The audience sang and danced along. Joy and happiness welcomed in Christmas at Roy Thomson Hall.
We would like to thank Strut Entertainment for the invitation to this concert.
