This year FOX NFL Sunday Studio Analyst Howie Long was honored with the coveted Pat Summerall Award to recognize his career accomplishments and the inspiration he brings to his community, viewers and patient families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In attendance were: the entire Long family, Richard C. Shadyac Jr. President and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Jay Feely, CBS Sports NFL analyst and uncle of St. Jude patient, St. Jude patient Owen and his father, Brian – patient speaker, Chris Berman, Cheri Summerall, Terry Bradshaw, Santonio Holmes – former NFL wide receiver and Super Bowl MVP, Jimmy Johnson (on video), Allen Lazard – Green Bay Packers WR, Brian Asamoah – Minnesota Vikings LB, Curt Menefee, FOX NFL Sunday, Erin Andrews(on video), Jay Glazer, FOX NFL Sunday, Levi Wallace, Pittsburgh Steelers CB, Michael Vick, FOX, NFL Studio Analyst, Chris Collinsworth(on video), Charles Woodson, Peter Schrager, NFL Insider, John Nallen, COO, FOX Sports, Tony Dungy(on video) to name some of the attendees.

This heartfelt event was held on Thursday, Feb. 09th at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Phoenix, as it was an evening of celebration and to honor the legacy of the late legendary NFL broadcaster Pat Summerall at the Legends for Charity® Annual Dinner benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ®

Events like Legends for Charity help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, so they can focus on helping their child live.

Since its inception more than 16 years ago, Legends for Charity has raised more than $8 million for St. Jude. Past honorees include; James Brown, Greg Gumbel, Jim Nantz, Chris Berman, Cris Collinsworth, The NFL ON FOX, Al Michaels, Archie Manning, Michael Strahan, Joe Buck, John Madden, Rich Eisen, Tony Dungy, Bill Cowher and Jim Kelly. The 2021 dinner raised $900,000 for St. Jude.

All CDC and local guidelines will be followed to ensure the health and safety of participants are the highest priority.
