Electrifying the Future
After a 3 year hiatus the Canadian International Car Show was back! And the clients were happy… attendance was high. This year the theme was Mobility Reimagined. The emphasis was on Electric Vehicles (EV). You not only got to see the EV vehicles but learned about energy-saving measures and electric charging stations. Lots to do. Lots to see. Beautiful cars. You could even do test driving right in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South on Canada’s largest indoor EV test track. Then text drive Frank Stronach’s super compact Sarit in the North MTCC. You could even try out a variety of eBikes. More interactive exhibits for visitors’ participation included: Camp Jeep, Micro Mobility test track – everyone enjoyed the thrill of the test drive track with its stairs, hills and rough terrain.

Lots of chances to sit in the cars, check out the interiors and imagine the drive. Hybrid and Electric vehicles. Race cars too. The 75 Years of Porsche exhibit was in one huge display room… with its beautiful cars and awesome colours. Another exhibit was a decade themed room with displays of music records of that time, pinball and computer games. For a small cost you could enjoy going down memory lane back to that time by playing the vintage computer games. Hot Wheels exhibited Hottest Wheels of the Autoshow with the original Sweet 16 Hot Wheels Cars.

The Auto Show is not just for adults looking out for their next vehicle – it’s an outing for the whole family. The Auto Show has activities and displays to keep the kids busy and interested too. In addition to the LEGO room with activities and the chance to purchase LEGO, there was the thrill of seeing the North American debut of the life-sized LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sian FKP 37. Thousands of photos – selfies and group pics – were taken by that beauty!
The location of Canadian International Auto Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) is easily reached by TTC subway or if coming by car there’s lots of underground parking. Give yourself a few hours to enjoy both the North and South areas of the show. “Today’s Look at Tomorrow’s Tech” And look forward to the Canadian International Auto Show 2024! We sure are!
We would like to thank the organizers of the event for the invitation and look forward to the Auto Show in Feb. 2024.
