Elevation Pictures and ICFF, presented by Lavazza, partnered with Liberty Entertainment Group (http://www.libertygroup.com/) — creator of landmark restaurant and entertainment venues celebrated the Canadian premiere of the long-awaited Ferrari biopic on Saturday night at the legendary Casa Loma.
After the premiere screening of Michael Mann’s film, Ferrari, at TIFF LightBox, it was an evening full of “red” elegance at Casa Loma. There was a section dedicated to the Ferrari brand, stand-up cocktail style reception, delicious food and drinks. In addition there was a variety of live entertainment including a DJ and dancers with their neon attire performing spontaneously. The delicious food stations were set up around the beautiful Casa Loma event centre areas including the spectacular glass domed building. Bars were available, including many drink mixes. Lots of room for guests to mingle and sit comfortably at tables or couches in this elegant Casa Loma setting. Interactive stations for dessert were available on the main floor. Late night food stations were opened. A very elegant and exciting evening with friends and colleagues at the Ferrari movie AFTERPARTY.
SARAH GADON was the guest of honor at the ‘Ferrari”movie premiere! Known for her stellar performances in acclaimed productions such as-‘Alias Grace’ and True Detective,’ Gadon graced the screen once again, this time as a captivating actress.
The movie was based during the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle and danger of Formula 1, owner/ex-racer Enzo Ferrari was in crisis. Bankruptcy stalked the company he and his wife, Laura, built from nothing ten years earlier. Their volatile marriage was further fractured with grief for their only son.
Ferrari struggled with the acknowledgement of another with Lina Lardi. His drivers’ passion to win pushed them to the edge. All their fates converge in one race, the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the iconic Mille Miglia. FERRARI starred Adam Driver alongside a stellar cast featured Penélope Cruz, Patrick Dempsey, Jack O’Connell, Shailene Woodley, and Sarah Gadon. An epic biopic with Michael Mann’s directorial touch included. A must see for all automotive, sports and movie fans.
The ICFF Premiere film screening of Ferrari and the glamorous AFTERPARTY at beautiful Casa Loma was a wonderful way of starting the Holiday Season.
