Superbowl 58 Week @ Las Vega, Nevada-Sat., Feb.3rd-Mon., Feb.12th, 2024

Super Bowl 58 is on! With the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs meeting on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. and the pre game show starts at 330 p.m. San Francisco came back from a 24-7 halftime score in a 34-31 win over Detroit in the NFC Championship Game after a comeback against Green Bay in the Divisional Round.

Kansas City is coming off a pair of road upsets, taking down Buffalo and Baltimore to keep its hopes of back-to-back Super Bowl victories alive. The Chiefs beat the 49ers in a 31-20 final in Super Bowl LIV four years ago. The early point spread had San Francisco 49ers a 2-point favorite.

The pre-Super Bowl hype, withdrawal and hangover is real. This two-week, now a week and a half and wait is slow, as sports journalists can’t wait for next week’s media circus and scrum. Our outlet will be in Las Vegas starting this Saturday, so keep updated with us on our website and Instagram for daily stories on press coverage, events and special presentations.

Here are the injuries to be noted for both teams: Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has a number of injury issues to contend with before the February 11 “Big Dance.” Defensive end Charles Omenihu tore his ACL in the win over the Ravens and will not face his former team in the Super Bowl.

Joe Thuney missed the game against Baltimore with a pectoral injury and the All Pro guard is currently a doubt starter for the Super Bowl.

Linebacker Willie Gay has a neck injury, but given he was a game-time decision, the hopes will be high that he can play in Las Vegas. Kadarius Toney, is  listed as having ankle and hip injuries. but is expected to return for the game.

The 49ers currently have a smaller injury list than the Chiefs, with a host of players picking up minor aches and pains during the win over Detroit, but most are not expected to miss out against the Chiefs during SB58 in Sin City. George Kittle hurt his toe, but is day-to-day, Ambry Thomas left the NFC Championship game with an ankle injury but is also expected to be fit, as is Christian McCaffrey who took a big hit on his final carry on Sunday. All are expected to play on Sun.,Feb.11th,2024. We like the San Francisco 49ers for the final game of the year with a close game and winning by a field goal over the Chiefs. It will be a hard fought matchup with both QB’s showing their “gunslinging” skills. Good luck to both teams for SB58.
