It was a beautiful summer evening in Toronto. A perfect evening for an outdoor concert. And Casa Loma with its outdoor Summer Series concert evenings is the best! Not only did the evening have the iconic Jully Black but included singer Suzie McNeil. The 2025 summer entertainment series is backed by Derek Miller of the Six Nations of the Grand River Community and two-time Juno award winner, and The Essentials Alumni of the Canada’s Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Musician Program, in partnership with Stingray .Yassin & Sean Terrio performed and were also part of the RBC Emerging Music Program of Canada’s Walk of Fame. Aaron Clark did an amazing rendition of Marvin Gaye’s song Sexual Healing. Then upbeat Semiah from the Seeing Red program sang, including a Dolly Parton song. A wonderful variety showcase of soulful singers. @RBCxMusic

She went into the audience, singing and mingling with guests as she sang and entertained. She had everyone enthralled in her conversations and clapping, singing and dancing to her songs. Jully always creates a warm, friendly environment. As a woman of faith, she supports important causes and uses her career as a platform to celebrate and inspire the greatness lying within us all. Wednesday, August 6 was not the only chance to see Jully Black at Casa Loma as she will be returning August 20.

Jully Black is a true Canadian icon. Named as one of ‘The 25 Greatest Canadian Singers Ever’,
(CBC Music) she is known as ‘Canada’s Queen of R&B Soul’ by fans and industry leaders. As a platinum selling recording artist, her music career has reached the Top 10 pop, R&B and dance music charts. She is a 2021 Canada’s Walk of Fame Inductee, has Juno and Gemini Awards.
