Wednesday, July 15 was a really hot evening in Toronto. The heat increased with Sean Jones’ concert at Casa Loma! The Liberty Entertainment Group brought Soul in the City back! Set in the beautiful gardens of Casa Loma with its fountain, flower gardens and views of Toronto skyline from the castle.
Guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks, desserts and coffee while enjoying the summer evening listening to the live music. Groups of friends celebrating special birthdays, events and time together in a wonderful setting. Some sat outside at tables while eating. Others sat at chairs for viewing. Inside the glass pavilion were reserved tables where guests enjoyed meals, drinks and being closer to the stage.
And Sean Jones was a crowd pleaser as much as ever! Charismatic Jones came into the crowd singing to the delight of guests. Upbeat, fun music and stage presence. The Soul in the City concert with Sean Jones and his band including bassist Calvin Beale and R&B singer Quisha Wint. Special guest singers included everyone’s favourites – award winning Jackie Richardson and Pop Rock Queen Cleopatra Williams. Newcomer ‘blue-eyed soul man’ Kubla joined the stage too. To the delight of the audience, young teenager Lorenzo (son of Casa Loma’s Paolo Busato and Catriona Delaney) played saxophone amongst the crowd.
It was a wonderful evening with Sean Jones, JunoAward-winning R&B artist Always loved by the crowd. Jones gets everyone involved, feeling good and enjoying their time with his music. We look forward to his next concert.
