The start of the CNE signals the end of summer holidays approaching. But it signals the start of 3 weeks of fun, food, excitement, rides, music, shopping and exhibits. Ice Skating Show at Coca Cola Stadium. Cat Show.
For live music, the main area is the Bell SOUNDSTAGE at the Bandshell with its full schedule of bands, singers and dancers. Also the NXNE Stage and Collective Tap Yard, the Midway Stage & Bar and the Wine Garden Stage in the Enercare Centre amongst others. The Bandshell in its 90th year did not disappoint!
A wide variety of music ranging from Rock Music classics such as Glass Tiger & John Fellner and Tom Cochrane & Sully Burrows to Shaggy & Jay Douglas, DJ Bobby Kane and Raf-Saperra to JoJo & Katie Tupper. Ending with another jam-packed audience loving the Caribbean Barbados Soca music of Alison Hinds, Nakita, DJ Puffy, Edwin Yearwood, Rupee. A fantastic line up of music! Wine Garden Stage bands and singers included STEPH, Naro & Layton
NXNE Stage (North by North East) near the Food Building included Carina, A Weekend at Ramona’s, Paitra, Wishwell, Misty Blue.
